Art Dubai 2024

Rashid Al Khalifa presents a selection of five works at Mario Mauroner Gallery Austria at Art Dubai 2024, alongside artists such as ANDREAS DUSCHA, JAN FABRE, FERRO, KENDELL GEERS, REBECCA HORN, TATSUO MIYAJIMA, JAUME PLENSA and JORINDE VOIGT.

MARIO MAURONER CONTEMPORARY ART SALZBURG was founded in 1972 by Waltraud & Mario Mauroner, at that time the gallery was still named „Galerie Academia“.

As an additional expansion of the vaults of the old prince archbishop „Residenz“ building, another 350 m2 exhibition space is located by the 1932 built „Bauhaus“ style gallery house. Here „White Cube“ exhibition rooms are spread out over two floors and give expanded possibilities to exhibit.

Further, it is surrounded by a spacious sculpture garden offering spectacular room for the presentation of large-scale sculpture – one of the main focuses of the gallery. Building a second point of interest, the gallery’s program is also dedicated to a range of outstanding and international contemporary artists especially from the Mediterranean area, whose common ground is a steady progression of their respective creative work, developed independently of current trends.
